I was kindly invited by Curry’s & PC World to come and try out the new Dyson V6 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner over at Dyson HQ in London. In a room packed full of some rather lovely bloggers, canapés and cake we were introduced to the V6 by Dyson engineer Matt Kelly.
The V6 Absolute is Dyson’s most powerful cordless machine yet, allowing us to effortlessly clear up after those messy kids of ours in just a few seconds. The fact it is cordless means being able to reach those areas in the house that you would otherwise find a tad bit awkward with the upright Dyson. Chuck in the fact it can convert to a handheld unit and there will not be a part of the house that isn’t cleaned using your V6.
I want to save my main compliments for this beautiful machine for when I write up my review, but just look at my face below! I was in total awe at the suction on it, and I am thinking that I might end up enjoying housework with my V6 in toll.
You can see it in action for yourself.. Pretty cool huh?
We were set the task of cleaning (oh the excited squeals) up some mess and trying out the various tools which are available for the V6. To make life easier for us, Dyson has designed different attachments which make cleaning up various surfaces a total breeze. I do like the idea of quickly being able to brush it over the worktop; I often find myself making a bodge job attempt at that with my larger Dyson, so this will just cut out that middle man(hoover).
It was a lovely afternoon spent making a mess and cleaning it back up again which may be the only time you will ever hear me say so those words. With one husband, three kids and a dog, a mess is something I am more than familiar with, and I can see our new Dyson V6 Absolute fitting into our home life rather well.
