New York, New York!

So it seems I have totally ignored Oli’s suggestion of Butlins and today I booked a trip to New York for us. Who said Sunday’s aren’t productive huh?! I also dismantled a cot and built a bed! Go me!

We totally have a taste for America now after our recent vacation to California, and I earlier I joked with the man that Charlotte would probably have visited every state by the time she is our age. Our current ESTA’s are still valid, and we still have some dollars ready and waiting to be to be spent. Oh, how the excitement is already kicking in!!

Oli cannot wait and has already made his New York wishlist which involves visiting the Statue Of Liberty and retracing the scenes from Night In The Museum in the American Museum Of Natural History. I’m up for retracing the scenes from Sex In The City, and¬†the New York library is top of that scene list. Our New York itinerary¬†is going to be a fun one to put together!

We would love to hear recommendations from you of what we can do as a family over in New York, where to eat or where bets to see the famous sights. I have already planned on purchasing New York Passes for us and have decided not to hire a car this time but use public transport, but that is about as far as I got so far with any real planning. There are so many beautiful hotels to choose from and some in brilliant locations close to all the action, but I would love to hear some personal recommendations on where is best for a family to stay.
