Build a Bike With Vitamin Water

I have a bad parenting confession to make which involves wheels, and no it’s not to do with my out of control pram addiction. My confession is that between all of us we don’t own a bike which I actually find rather horrifying, especially considering Oli is five years of age now and most of his friends own one. So when we heard via #CollectiveBias that Vitamin Water was running a competition where you can Build a Bike and be in with a chance of winning your bike design we thought we would enter together as a family.

To enter the competition and be one of the lucky winners who get to ride away on their unique creation we had to purchase some Vitamin Water. So off to Tesco’s, we went to get ourselves some Vitamin Water which was easily found in the drinks aisle.

The promotional tabs on the bottles have a unique code which once entered on the website give you access to the competition where you can design your bike choosing what colours and design you would like your bike to have.

Want to see our entry? The boys had fun playing around with the different colour combinations, and I think we all agreed that our final design is quite simply unique.

While we wait for the winners to be announced we thought we would have some fun with our empty Vitamin Water bottles and design our very own bike. We are huge advocates of recycling in our house, and most of our recycling pile gets used for arts and crafts, and we much enjoyed the challenge of making a bike out of our plastic bottles.
