Oli got sent a Mr. Men Sports Day and Mr. Men Sports Day Sticker Scene book, which is fab timing seeing as it’s the summer holidays. Anything to do with stickers is a big hit with the toddler at the moment and to combine them with Mr Men is a great idea. We’ve just recently started to introduce him to the Mr Men books now that he has such a love of reading.
I think for a toddler, the silliness and the bright, fun loving characters bring it to life for him and we enjoyed bringing the Sports Day sticker book to life even more with adding the relevant stickers to each scene. I’ll show you using photos just how much fun Oli had doing it.
Hargreaves has created the first ever sports themed books in the iconic children’s character series, just in time for Britain’s summer of sport. I love the fact that I can use this sticker book as a way to educate the toddler in these sports and talk about all the fantastic events going on in Britain this year. Oli even got Dylan involved with the sticker action.
Of course, our day of Mr Men stickering was topped off with a Mr Men book come bedtime; we read together the Mr Men Sports Day which Oli thoroughly enjoyed, though I would be telling porkies if I didn’t admit to enjoying it too. The book was a typical Mr Men book which contained lots of silliness with the characters showing their sporting prowess or lack of!
The new Mr. Men Sports Day and Mr. Men Sports Day Sticker Scene books are £2.99 and £3.99 respectively and are available now from all good book retailers as well as Amazon.
